Constantine Orbelian

Born: August 27th, 1956, San Francisco, USA. (Armenian: Կոնստանտին Օրբելյան, Russian: Константин Гарриевич Орбелян)

American pianist, now lives in Russia. From 1991 he is music director and conductor of Moscow Chamber Orchestra. Founder of The Palaces of St. Petersburg Festival.

Should not be confused with his paternal uncle, composer Konstantin Orbelian ([a1700673]), whom he was named after.
