Maurice Gurvich

Maurice Gourvich or Морис Гурвич (1909 – 19??) was a Soviet viola-player, member of [a=Bolshoi Theatre Quartet] (1931–1968). He had been playing in the [a=Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra] from 1930 to 1952, and after that joined the [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/1470340]USSR State Symphonic Orchestra[/url]. From 1954, Maurice Gurvich became a concertmaster for viola group in the Orchestra.
