Vocalist began her career touring with Harry Belafonte, then worked on numerous projects with other background singers such as Vivian Cherry, Gwen Guthrie and Lani Groves. She was tapped by [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/99515-Kenny-Lehman]Kenny Lehman[/url] to work on the the first Chic album. She also did lead and background vocals for Jacques Fred Petrus' [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/17967-Change]Change[/url] project. This brought her to the attention of Columbia executives and lead to the [url=https://www.discogs.com/Diva-Gray-And-Oyster-Hotel-Paradise/master/146596]Diva Gray and Oyster[/url] album, [i]Hotel Paradise[/i]. She resides in New York City.
