Russian State Symphony Orchestra
Formed in 1936 as State Symphony Orchestra of the USSR, also known as [b]ГАСО[/b] (GASO) or [b]Госоркестр[/b] (Gosorchester). In 60s bacame "Academic" - State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the USSR. Since 1991 State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Russian Federation. On 27 October 2005 the State Academic Symphony Orchestra was officialy named after E.F.Svetlanov.
