Walter Donaldson

Born: 15 February 1893 in Brooklyn, New York, USA.
Died: 15 July 1947 in Santa Monica, California, USA.

Walter Donaldson was a prolific American songwriter, producing many hit songs of the 1910s and 1920s, several written with lyricist [a=Gus Kahn]. In 1929 Donaldson moved to Hollywood and worked composing and arranging music for motion pictures.

Inducted in the Songwriters Hall Of Fame in 1970.
