Mac Davis

Mac Davis

US Songwriter and born January 21, 1942 in Lubbock, Texas.
He was responsible for one of the biggest hits of [a=Elvis Presley] "In The Ghetto", although he wrote that under the name of his son Scott, and "A Little Less Conversation". He was a profolic writer of songs a.o. for [a=Dolly Parton], [a=Kenny Rogers] and [a=Bobby Goldsboro].
Inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2000 and into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2006.
