Czech vocalist and actor. Born July 2, 1932, in Košice (Slovakia, former Czechoslovakia), died May 30, 2009, in Miami, Florida (USA). One of the most popular Czechoslovak mainstream pop stars of the 1960s and 1970s. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1986, three years before the collapse of the communist regime.
