Cissy Houston
Emily Houston, formerly Garland, née Drinkard
American soul and gospel singer (b. 30 Sept. 1933). Was a prolific background vocalist before becoming a solo artist. Released a handful of disco recordings as well. She is also the mother of [a=Whitney Houston], and the aunt of [a=Dionne Warwick] and [a=Dee Dee Warwick].
