Stefan Betke

Stefan Betke (b. 1967), known under the artistic name [a=Pole], is a German dubtronic/glitch artist, producer and mastering engineer. Originally from Düsseldorf, currently based in Berlin. Betke started working as a mastering engineer in 1996 at [l=Dubplates & Mastering], and in 2000 opened his own company [l=Scape Mastering].
In 1999, he founded [l=~scape] label (closed in 2010). In September 2011, Stefan Betke launched his new label [l=Pole], to release his own music.
