American actor who made his name playing Jordan Catalano in the TV series "My So-Called Life", before going on to become a Hollywood star and appearing in films including Requiem For A Dream, Fight Club, Panic Room, Alexander and Lord of War.

He is also the lead singer and guitarist for rock band 30 Seconds To Mars.
