Guitarist and singer/songwriter whose style influenced the likes of [a=Eric Clapton], [a=J.J. Cale], and [a=Duane Allman]. In 1967 he met [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/Bonnie+Bramlett]Bonnie Lynn O'Farrell[/url], a member of [a=Ike & Tina Turner]'s backup group [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/Ikettes%2C+The]The Ikettes[/url]. The two were married within five days; they also formed a duo named [a=Delaney & Bonnie]. He was born July 1, 1939 in Pontotoc, Mississippi and died December 27, 2008 in Los Angeles, California.
