Mark Angelo Lusardi, brother of the famous glamour model Linda Lusardi, was a pioneer of UK dub who’d honed his skills in London’s [l=Gooseberry Sound Studios] recording with the likes of [a58333], [a=Creation Rebel] and [a=Prince Far I] in the late 70s. He would later set up his own [l286910] which, amongst its other clients, included the leading Reggae label [l=Greensleeves], with Lusardi working, most notably, on [a=Clint Eastwood & General Saint]’s ‘Two bad DJ' (1983). His long-time association with maverick British bassist, [a=Jah Wobble], goes right back to his time with [a=Public Image Ltd.] Lusardi also worked with [a=P.I.L] and [a=Sex Pistols] - a good example of the links between punk and reggae at that time.
In the mid-90s he developed an outboard EQ / filtering device called “The Mutator”, used by numerous recording artists including [a=Massive Attack], [a=Radiohead], [a=William Orbit], [a=Beck], [a=Leftfield], and [a=Daft Punk].
