English record producer best known for his work with dub music as well as for remixing a number of popular acts such as [a=Coldcut], [a=Depeche Mode], [a=The Woodentops] [a=Primal Scream], [a=Pop Will Eat Itself], [a=Sinéad O'Connor], and [a=Skinny Puppy].
He is co-founder of [l=Carib Gems] and [l=Pressure Sounds], and founder of [l=Hitrun Records] as well as [l=Green Tea] and [l=Sound Boy]. His most well-known label is [l=On-U Sound]. He is also the fourth member of industrial hip-hop outfit [a=Tackhead], credited as "mixologist."
During the early 80's he brought together many Jamaican artists under the collective name of [a=Singers & Players] including [a=Prince Far I], [a=Mikey Dread], [a=Bim Sherman] and many others, this helped promote the individual artists at the same time as promoting the record label, On-U Sound Records.
