Rick Ross

William Leonard Roberts II

American rapper born January 28, 1976 in Coahoma County, Mississippi and raised in Carol City, Florida (North Miami). He graduated from Miami Carol City Senior High School, and attended Albany State University, serving as a correctional officer for 18 months from December 1995, until his resignation in June 1997. Initially signed to Suave House Records, he made his debut on [a=Erick Sermon]'s Def Squad Presents Erick Onasis, under his former moniker Teflon the Don. He eventually signed to [l=Slip-N-Slide Records], before Founding his own [l172335] in 2006.
